Dont Pick Your Fruit Too Early
By Stacy Wendell
February 3, 2008

Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Once again I greet you with the joy of Jesus.  Last time, I talked about distractions keeping you from serving God. This week I want to touch on the topic of Waiting for my fruit to Ripen. Psalms 1:3 says: “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”

Have you ever prayed for something and waited and it seem to never come and then one day out of no where, when you least expect it, here comes your Shower of Blessings. We serve a God who knows what is best for us.  God always knows the desires of our heart but our desires are not always the best choice for us at a particular time or season. God knows when its time for you’re your fruit to come forth, God knows when it’s your time to shine.  When we try to do things in our own time we often end up tasting the bitterness of defeat. Have you ever tasted fruit that is not quite ready to be picked? It may look like its ready, it may even feel ready but if you partake of just one bite you will know it’s just not ready. The texture is off, it’s too hard; it’s too soft, it’s bitter, it’s just not what you thought it would be. Blessings from God remind me of that fruit. God wants us to wait until the season of harvest is upon us. He wants you to trust Him to know when your season is in full bloom so that you can partake of the sweetest fruit. When it’s your season the fruits of your labor will beyond anything you can imagine. Do you have enough faith to sustain you?

Just a quick reminder its time to raise funds to help Gospel Revelations stay on the air for another year.

Please Pledge your support today! Call 201-692-2012 or send me an e-mail or log onto www.wfdu.fm let us know how much you want to pledge (it's tax deductible). In a few days you will receive your pledge pack explaining all you need to know. I hope you will help us out. I need you to survive.

Until we meet again,

Blessings,

Sista Stacy
