How Do You Love the Unlovable? By: Stacy Wendell Hello all. Thank You for your feedback on this study. It has not been an easy subject to research. God has given me understanding. I am not clear how deep I should take this but for now this is the third installment. Here we go…How demons enter in. Unclean spirits have a goal of corrupting the mind and lives of God’s people. There must be an opening in order for a demon to come in. The door for demons to come in can be open in several different ways. Willful sin can open the door. Galatians 5 calls them “works of the flesh.” The list of sins that can open the door to unclean spirits include: adultery, fornication, witchcraft, hatred, wrath, strife, envying, murder, and drunkenness. Willful sin is sin that you commit in the flesh; actions you have control over. Think about it, the bible says: “So obey God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you.” (James4:7) Sins are things that God doesn’t like. Remember we are all sinners saved by grace. In Matt. 18:21 we see an example of a failure to forgive opens the door to many unclean spirits and feelings of resentment and hatred. It is so important to stay prayed up. Its important to ask God to soften your heart if you do have any unforgiveness in your heart. The bible speaks often of forgiveness. “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” (Col. 3:13) In the next and possibly last installment I will discuss discernment and deliverance. Please continue to keep me in your prayers as I will also pray for you. Soon my church will do a shut-in prayer night. Details will be posted. May God’s grace keep us all in perfect peace. Blessings,
