August 2007 Music Review

Praise God from whom all blessings flow.  I greet you with the joy of Jesus. I pray the summer finds you blessed.

Our first CD comes from recording artist: Bruce Parham. His project is entitled: “Dwelt Together” and was recorded live at Harvest Life Changers Ministries. I really enjoyed the worship experience while listening to this CD. I found the flow of the music to be refreshing and encouraging. Here is another CD you can put in and let it play with no interruptions. I highly recommend this one.

Light Records recording artist Bishop Paul S. Morton is up next with the project “Still Standing”  Bishop Morton lost his churches, homes and all possessions during the Katrina storm during the summer that ravaged New Orleans. With the help of the Lord he is rebuilding. This project was done in celebration of the triumph over tragedy. The listening experience alone is awesome. The CD was produced by Kurt Carr. The songs will inspire you to trust in the Lord no matter what. I was ministered to while listening and I hope you will be too.

Contemporary Christian artist and Gospel Dream participant Brian Smith offers our next CD. The project “Love Letter” features mainly original songs of praise and worship. Brian Smith is a talented artist. The songs were very well written. The title track is memorable. Check it out.

The next CD is from Derrick Pearson: “Lord You are my Everything” The project is really good. There is a great variety of music on this CD. While listening to this project my soul was soothed. I think u will enjoy it.
