March 2008 Music Review

Praise God from whom all blessings flow. This month the March winds blow in some great music for your consideration.

Our first CD this month comes from Legendary recording artist Patti Labelle. The CD entitled “The Gospel According to Patti Labelle” is truly a blessing. The project features duets with Mary Mary, Yolanda Adams, and Cece Winans just to name a few. I enjoyed “Walk Around Heaven” It’s a classic.
 
“The Path” is up next. The Ron Crichlow Ensemble brings us this unique project. RCE is a group of talented singers. I really enjoyed the music on this CD. I especially enjoyed the song “Everything means Nothing” a gospel remake of an Alicia Keys song. Great!

Our next CD is WOW Gospel 2008. This popular double CD compilation is released yearly featuring the very best in Gospel music all in one place. Karen Clark Sheard, Smokie Norful, Kirk Franklin, and more help to make up this music mix.  Check it out.

Our Final CD this month is entitled “God of This City”.  This compilation features some of the best in Contemporary Christian Music. Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, and Fee are some of the artists included. I enjoyed this CD. It’s a good mix.
