February 2009 Music Review Praise God from whom all blessings flow. I am so happy to be back with you celebrating the best in Gospel and Christian Contemporary music. I pray 2009 has been a blessing so far. Remember God is faithful. Happy Valentine's Day to you and your sweetie. Our first CD is from Hezekiah Walker and LFC with the much anticipated CD release “Souled Out”. There are certain people we expect musical excellence from each and every time; this project does not disappoint. The title track has been impacting Gospel radio for a while now. I am so excited about an inspirational track on the CD entitled “God Favored Me”. It’s a great song that talks about God having your back when others turn on you. I love it! I highly recommend checking this one out. Our next CD comes from Kurt Carr and the Kurt Carr Singers. This double disc project entitled “Just The Beginning” was recorded live. This project offers the classic Kurt Carr sound and will speak peace to your heart. The exhilarating track “Right Time Right Place” will have you getting your grove on for Jesus! A must have addition to your collection. Finally, this month our Local Artist of the Month features a group near and dear to my heart: Trinity Baptist Church Music Ministry in Hackensack NJ. The first release on the new label Trinity Records entitled “Trinity Baptist Church Project Volume 1” features selections from Lady Theresa Whitfield and Arlene McGuggins with the Choir. This CD is a labor of love from executive producers Pastor, Rev. Jonathan B. Whitfield, and Randy G Music Group The awe –inspiring tracks will soothe your spirit.
