Can you imagine a world where you trust your leader the way you trust your family? Have you ever met a person who values others above themselves? Wouldn’t you prefer someone who has experience to lead you? Barack Obama is the best candidate for president because he is honest, values others above himself, and has experience with the law.

Most importantly, Barack Obama is the best candidate for president because he is honest. I mean, instead of hiding what the government does behind the scenes he lets America know. For example, in his speeches Barack promises things he’ll get done and stays honest by telling us which issues are not his priorities. While Obama was the US Senator, he wanted America to know that they could trust the government. He did this by allowing all citizens to log online and view where their tax money was being spent. Because Barack Obama was honest by showing what the government was doing with tax payers’ money, he is the best candidate for president.

Not only is Obama the best candidate because he is honest, but also because he values others above himself. I mean, Obama would rather improve people’s lives around him than himself. For example, he traveled to different churches figuring out how to improve their lives. After college, Obama became a community organizer instead of going straight to law school. He sought to improve living conditions in poor neighborhoods living with crime and high unemployment. Since he took time to help others, he learned that in order to truly improve the lives of people in communities, there is not only a need for change locally, but also in our laws and politics.

Finally, Barack Obama is the best candidate for president because he has experience with the law. I mean because he earned his law degree from Harvard, he will know how to make intelligent decisions for our country. For example, when the congress passes a law and sends it to the president, Obama would know if the law is unconstitutional or constitutional. In 1991, Barack Obama earned his law degree in Harvard Law School . He became the first African American president of the Harvard Law Review. After, he returned to Chicago to practice as a civil rights lawyer and teach constitutional law. Therefore, Barack Obama knows all about law which gives him an advantage in the presidential race.

To summarize, Barack Obama is the best candidate for president because he is honest, values others above himself and has experience with the law. If you want to trust your president like your family, be cared about and have someone with experience to lead you believe me when I say Barack Obama is the best candidate for President.
