Developments and Celebrations Praise God from whom all blessings flow. It’s been a while since I have taken the time to share my thoughts with you. I pray this note finds you all blessed. Here is the latest news from Gospel Revelations. The summer heat has been brutal and the rising price of living is enough to bring anyone to their knees! Lets not even mention the gas prices…Through it all God is still faithful. Recently I am sure you have noticed a few changes to Gospel Revelations Radio. In June Bro. Bleu officially joined the family with “Divine Crossovers”. In July we added “Moody’s Mood” with Bro. Moody and as we go in to August we are accepting your ideas and submissions for an additional segment to be added to the show. We will take the top two ideas and make a decision on one. The winning submission will be added to the show and the winner will receive a special “thank you gift”. The runner up idea will be added to gospelrevelations.com. We are embarking to start a newsletter in which ad space will be sold, available for advertisements for your events, businesses or ministry. We will also be accepting articles and poetry submissions. Our 10 year Gospel Revelations/Gospel format Anniversary is just around the corner. The date has been set for June 6, 2009 @ 7 PM. It will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, Hackensack NJ 07601. (Rev. Jonathan B. Whitfield, Pastor). In preparation for this historical occasion we have a few surprises in store for our loyal supporters. Stay tuned for more information as we continue to develop the details. One sneak peek: we are going to be celebrating some of the people who helped to make Gospel Revelations and Gospel programming on WFDU what it is today. An awards luncheon tentively scheduled for November 2008. The “Helping Hands Awards” was something we did years ago to show our appreciation for our supporters. We had such a great time, its time to do it again! We will keep you posted! Finally, in the spirit of “New Beginnings” I am overwhelmed with emotion as I embark on another chapter in my life. I have decided to embrace my radio career and ministry full time. It is definitely a leap of faith, trusting God for provision. All I can say is: My steps are ordered by God. Keep me in your prayer as I keep you in mine. Thank you for your continued support and love. That’s all for now; until we meet again, Be Blessed. Stay Encouraged, Sista Stacy |
